ACCOUNT MANAGER – COMPRESSORS

Our client is seeking an Account Manager to join a
customer-focused industrial sales team supporting centrifugal
compressor parts, service, repairs, and engineered solutions
throughout a multi-state territory including Kentucky, Tennessee,
Kansas, the Dakotas, and Wyoming.

Required Experience
Qualified candidates should have:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience selling technical or
industrial products, or related experience as a Service
Technician
* Basic understanding of centrifugal compressor operation
* Strong mechanical aptitude or an Engineering degree
* Experience supporting industrial customers within manufacturing
or process industries
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word,
Excel, and Outlook
* A strong history of customer relationship development and
territory growth
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have:
* Ability to work within industrial environments requiring
moderate PPE use
* Ability to travel daily throughout the assigned territory,
including overnight travel as needed
* Ability to identify customer challenges and recommend technical
solutions
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* A customer-focused approach to communication, technical
support, and sales development
Key Responsibilities
In this role, the Account Manager will be responsible for:
* Developing and growing an assigned territory through new
business development and account management activities
* Visiting new and existing customers to evaluate needs and
present compressor parts, service, and upgrade solutions
* Quoting pricing and reviewing customer specifications for
equipment and service requirements
* Preparing sales contracts and coordinating order processing
with internal customer service teams
* Identifying customer operational challenges through proactive
application reviews and account mapping
* Presenting customized solutions designed to improve performance
and reduce operational costs
* Maintaining strong customer relationships across industries
including chemical, petrochemical, refining, power generation,
pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and food processing
* Professionally representing the organization during all
customer interactions and site visits
* Managing territory travel schedules and maintaining regular
customer engagement throughout the region
