SALES ENGINEER
The Opportunity
Our client is a leading industrial equipment company hiring a Sales Engineer based out of Dallas, TX. This role focuses on installation, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and emergency repair of rotary screw, reciprocating, and centrifugal compressed air systems, dryers, filtration, and piping across an established service territory.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, startup, preventative maintenance, and emergency repair on customer equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-system issues using OEM tools and schematics
- Document service calls accurately and recommend follow-on repairs, parts, and service agreements
- Maintain inventory on the service truck and keep tools/equipment in safe working order
- Communicate clearly with customers and the service coordinator to maximize uptime
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency service
Qualifications
- 2+ years of industrial field service or maintenance experience (compressors, pumps, generators, or rotating equipment preferred)
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including 3-phase power and basic controls troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and OEM service manuals
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background and drug screen
- Refrigeration / EPA certification a plus
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills
