HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join a service-focused team supporting commercial and light-industrial HVAC systems in the Greenville, SC market.
This opportunity is a strong fit for a technician who values hands-on troubleshooting, independent work, customer service, and technical problem-solving across rooftop units, splits, chillers, and controls. The ideal candidate brings mechanical and electrical experience, EPA certification, strong diagnostic skills, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and repair.

- Competitive hourly compensation in the $30.00 – $45.00+ per hour range DOE

Key Responsibilities
- Perform service, preventive maintenance, and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-side issues across rooftops, splits, chillers, and controls
- Maintain accurate service documentation and customer communication
- Partner with sales and dispatch on quoted repairs and replacement opportunities
- Respond to after-hours service calls on rotation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of HVAC service experience in commercial or light-industrial environments
- EPA Section 608 certification required
- Strong electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background / drug screening
- Customer-facing communication and professionalism
