SERVICE MANAGER – COMPRESSORS

Required Experience
Qualified candidates should have:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial compressor
service, maintenance, or related industrial equipment industries
* Previous experience managing or supervising field service
technicians preferred
* Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
* Experience scheduling, coordinating, and supporting field
service operations
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong organizational, leadership, and time management
abilities
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and service
management software systems
* A strong history of maintaining customer relationships and
supporting operational excellence
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have:
* Ability to lead and motivate a team of field service
technicians
* Strong understanding of industrial compressed air systems and
related equipment
* Ability to prioritize service schedules, emergency calls, and
customer requests effectively
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
* Ability to professionally represent the company in
customer-facing environments
* Commitment to workplace safety and safe service practices
Key Responsibilities
In this role, the Service Manager will be responsible for:
* Managing daily operations of the compressor service department
and field technician team
* Coordinating technician schedules, service calls, preventative
maintenance, and emergency repairs
* Supporting technicians with troubleshooting, technical
guidance, and customer issue resolution
* Maintaining strong relationships with customers through
responsive communication and service support
* Monitoring department performance, productivity, and service
quality standards
* Assisting with hiring, training, mentoring, and performance
development of service technicians
* Ensuring compliance with safety standards, company policies,
and operational procedures
* Collaborating with sales, parts, and operations teams to
support customer needs and business growth
* Managing service documentation, work orders, and operational
reporting requirements
* Supporting the continued growth of service business
opportunities, maintenance agreements, and customer retention
efforts
