Our client is seeking a well-rounded Generator Service Technician in the Hillsboro, KS area to service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial generators and power-generation systems in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair diesel and natural-gas generators
• Perform preventative maintenance, load-bank testing, and diagnostics
• Work on electrical controls, mechanical systems, and switchgear
• Document service calls and participate in an on-call rotation

Qualifications

• Well-rounded electrical and mechanical skills
• Experience with generators, engines, or power-generation equipment
• Ability to read schematics and OEM service manuals
• Valid driver license and clean record
